Default Doll Master (1/10 stolen from Magna's puppeteer)

Background
Training in the arcane, studying under the gods, learning from the crypts. These are not what makes a doll master. Doll Master's have one lesson and only one lesson, how to manifest their doll in the first place.

Basic Statistics
Starting Armor- 5
Max Health- 470
Energy- 30
Max Armor- 60 (+20 while doll is not broken)
Max Weapon- Kira (600 health, 40 armor, 4-35 damage)
Starter Weapon- Starter Doll (100 health, 5 armor, 3-5 damage)
Energy Pips- 4

Dolls, A Greater Explanation
Dolls are the Doll Master's ONLY good weapon. The doll is also their only form of attack, but they are not truly the weapon inside the Doll Master's hand, dolls become part of the character's soul. The Doll grows along with the doll master, gaining special benefits as the doll master gains levels. (dolls themselves do not gain levels and their health is still mainly influenced by the original weapon.)

Dolls grow. They grow along with their Doll Master's, when the doll Master reaches level 5, the dolls gain these bonuses:
Lesser Doll Bonus

When the Doll Master reaches level 10 they gain these bonuses:
Standard Doll Bonus
Hidden Doll Skills

When the Doll Master reaches level 15 they gain these bonuses:
Greater Doll Bonus

When the Doll Master reaches level 20 they gain these bonuses:
Grand Doll Bonus
Doll Blessing

Doll Blessing description:
Doll Manipulation skills cast 15% faster
Hexes last 33% shorter on dolls

Hidden Doll Skills:
Level 10:
Hidden Knife- 1 cast 20 recharge
the doll's next attack strikes for +15 slashing damage

Level 15:
Hidden Needle Storm- 1/2 cast 60 recharge
the doll's next attack strikes all nearbye foes within the area for 20 slashing damage.

New Stuff
Doll-
I already got into the intracite stuff earlier, just reread that. Just remember that dolls can be affected by most conditions except those requiring flesh (they can be set on fire but can't suffer from these: disease, poison, bleeding, deep wound, weakness, or daze)

Doll Attacks-
can be used while fused or not fused, but the doll must be alive.

Broken-
A condition the doll suffers when it's health has dropped to 0. If removed with a spell or enchantment, the doll's health increases to 1. Can be returned to full health if the doll master repairs it using a Doll repair. While Broken the doll cannot use Doll Attacks cannot be used at all. Dolls who are broken do not move and take no additional damage.

Doll Repair-
The skills the doll master uses to maintain the doll's condition and health.

Seperated Will-
Once a Doll Master has been killed, the doll becomes hostile to all sources. When the doll master ressurects, the Doll can do one of two things.
1. if ressurected by a skill, the doll master regains control
2. if ressurected by a ressurection shrine, the doll runs rampant until broken then teleports to the doll master for repairs. After repairs the doll master regains control.

Attributes
Doll Attunement- (Primary Attribute)
Symbolizes your attunement with your doll. For every rank in this attribute, your doll gains 2% more health and all doll attack and doll maintenance recharge 2% faster.
Doll Manipulation-
Increases the damage the doll does and the effects of doll attacks.
Doll Maintenance-
Increases the Doll Master's doll repair skills which allow healing, hex removal, and condition removal.
Doll Support-
Increases the Resistances and Attack power of your doll.

Sample Skills
Doll Attunement
Empathic Bonding- 5 energy 1 cast 12 recharge

Flashstrike- 5 energy 8 recharge
(Doll Attack) this attack strikes 50% faster, cannot be blocked or dodged, and strikes for +5...15 damage.

Needle Storm- 5 energy 24 recharge
(Doll Attack) target foe must be poisoned for this attack to have any effect. All foes in the area are poisoned for 5...10 seconds.

Replicate- 3 cast 46 recharge
(skill) create a replica of the Doll Master for 5...30 seconds. This replica becomes indistinguishable from the original to foes but allies are able to tell them apart. Destroying the replica causes the doll to shadowstep to your location.

Doll Signet- 1/4 cast 36 recharge

Just as a trivia those aren't djinns or anything like them. They're actually elementals and spirits, sorta goes in with the whole, the doll is a part of the Doll Master's soul. I picked the pics to go along with the class (just in case some of you didn't get it) But ignore the pics if you don't like em, what'dya think of the class? (The pics aren't actually gonna be put in anyway, otherwise all the classes you make would be breaking copyright laws xD)

I was saying I prefer for you to use Djinn, I am not saying they are Djinns and they don't even look like dolls.

those monsters there look more like elemental summons of an elementalist like summoner.
Imo a Doll Master (Puppeteer) should not be like a wannabe summoner, doing fusions with his dolls.. this lets this CC look like a Surprise Egg ... 3 in 1
with the concept "How do i put best as much different professions as possible into only 1"

A puppeteer has a totally different behavior, than fusing with its dolls to increase his own powers ... a puppeteer acts only like a summoner, healing/buffing and generally supporting its doll. but fighting does the doll only and nobody else because the puppeteer itself is to weak for fighting and cant fight self.

But this CC looks personally for me like a merged Elementalist, Ritualist/Necromancer together with the idea of the puppeteer

i had once on a german forum such a similar CC too, that i made once that day i got inspired by the Ps2 game "Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits", this game as a certain character, that acts like a doll and has self skills that r like skills of a puppeteer, being able to control its enemies.

Looks like I'm going to have to rewrite a good part of this class...hmm I have an idea, let me fix this up. Keep checking in often and I'll have this done by noon tommorrow at the earliest.

Stage 1: completed, updated pics, removed fusion, reinvented doll system.

Stage 2: Completed, skill updates, background tuning, doll stats tuning, basic stats tuning.

Alright now tell me what you think?

Well mine is a wooden/crafted doll^^.

Just wanna know, Is it nice to make my dolls based on Fairytales instead of Dolls with a Job giving them skills of other profession like the Cleric they're healers^^.
Or based on the Chess, Like the Rook(Tanker), Bishop(Caster/Nuker), Pawn(Toy version), Horse/Calvary(Assassin^^), Queen(Elite Healer), King(Elite Tanker/Assassin).
Or Based on Fairytales but they would act like living enchantments, sounds like my Cleric, nvm^^.
Delete Post Above XD!
Or Based on Fairytales, Goldilocks(Illusionist, ask me later if you wanna knw why^^), Alice(Disapearing Pet, Actually she just got alot smaller), Cetcher Cat(Sorry if it's wrong spelling, The Assassin with Shadow Step and real Disapearing), Queen of Hearts(Elite, The Sub-Controller of Puppets, Actually she'll just be a Paragon^^), and Peter Pan and Tinker Bell(nothing in my mind except tinker is a healer^^!)

Magna I didn't catch a word of what you just said. Nyan, the dolls are originally just wooden ordinary dolls, but it's sorta the difference between a necromancer controlling a minion and a warrior controlling a minion, the real doll is part of the Doll Master's Soul.

dolls shouldn't act like pieces of chess oO (weird imagination, of what piece should be what profession)

Farmers = Dervish/Necromancer
Bishops = Ritualist/Monk
Horses = Ranger/Assassin
Towers = Elementalist/Warrior
Queen = Mesmer/Elementalist
King = Warrior/Paragon
=======

When based on fairytales, dolls can be everything, like little visions of existing monsters ingame and dolls would look like mini pets.
in other words, mini pets would be puppeteers dolls...

RL fairytales would not fit to GW ...

Ok i don't get it. If you say the doll is part of the dollmaster's soul I think you mean a part of his soul is possessing the doll, if it's anything else than that 'doll' isn't really a doll, more like an astral projection.

Anyway if what i said first was right there's no reason they should be immune to dazed and immunity to deep wound would make no sense at all.

Again, as with magna's version a lack of new unique abilities, some things like doll armor are pretty nice and all but I still don't see a reason why i should spend my time buffing a doll doing another professions work

Oh yea I forgot to mention that dolls only get 3/4ths benefit from healing and only get 2/3rds benefit from enchantments due to the fact that they are not human. (Enchantments that the other proffessions have are mainly based for living creatures, the doll is a piece of a soul fused into a puppet to manipulate it so therefore the doll only gains partial benefit from non-doll master enchantments).

A. Chess-Based Dolls

B. Fairytale-Based Dolls

C. Job-Based Dolls

I really need help which would go more?
But I'll be making p my own fairytales^^.
And sorry Darkhell if I am hijacking your thread^^.

I'd go with dolls related to historical persona's or creatures from GW lore, which in GW 2 will be the stuff of legends and history.
Such as a Kormir doll and a Shiro puppet.

Also give them, doll only, monster skills that resemble skills from the profession the doll is supposed to be, but are toned down a bit for balance.

Figurine of Dwayna elite doll re-crafting E15 A4 R-
Craft your (<INSERT PREVIOUS PERMUTATION HERE>) doll into a figurine of Dwayna increasing its level by 2...5(6). It will heal touched allies by 20...50(60) with 2 seconds recharge; Figurine of Dwayna will be locked until target doll dies.

You add levels and skills to your dolls, but only 1 skill per re-crafting; that way you can give the skill description in the re-crafting's description, avoiding overly lengthy descriptions for adding 2 skills and allowing oversight becasue you will be told exactly what the skills of each doll do.
Not having to deal with hidden skills or having to look up the effects of skills with "/wiki <skill name>" if you're unsure on what they do.

Perhaps you could even take away the (<INSERT PREVIOUS PERMUTATION HERE>) allowing you to build up your dolls in whatever order you like, perhaps having a doll with a ranger skill a assassin skill and a mesmer skill, and it's level increased by each of these re-craftings.
It might make a doll with a bogus build and a high level or it might be skills chosen for the way the fit together(which for balance reasons have been placed in different attributes, of course) not gaining the doll as many levels but giving it a better build.
When doing that you'd have to limit the max amount of re-craftings preformed on a doll, I'd suggest 3 as a max or have the amount decided by an attribute just as death magic now decides your maximum amount of minions.

I think I'll stick with the Job-Based and the Fairytale would be for my Minstrel I wanna use the "Foolish King" with the "Clever Peasant"^^!
Also the "Eternal Life, The Never Ending Story" with the "End of Worlds, The Ending of Stories"^^!
Actually I dunno what am I saying but talk more talk more^^!
But the First sentence is true^^.
